1) Polymer Concrete Tank 2) Design Pressure: Ambient 3) Design Temp.: 70°C 4) Color: Gray Construction The cell is manufactured with an exclusive Triple-Layer polymer composite material, consisting of: 1 Internal Impermeable Tank: Provides primary containment of electrolyte. This liner is fabricated on a steel mold, and is formed by a continuous layer of vinylester resin reinforced by FRP. 2 Polymer Concrete Structural Core: Provides a robust, monolithical structure, with very high mechanical, electrical, thermal and chemical resistance. This structural core is reinforced with a bidirectional armature of non conductive, pultruded FRP rebars; 3 External Impermeable Lining: Provides a uniform and continuous external seal, that improves cell appearance and protects from electrolyte splashes. This liner is fabricated on a steel mold, and is formed by a continuous layer of vinylester resin reinforced by FRP.
